The perspectives in this 2-day intensive workshop may startle those unfamiliar with physicians and researchers such as Dossey, Myss, Pert, Sheldrake and Hellinger. Their work is currently revolutionising the approach to all 'dis-ease', including Cancer. Clearly the medicine of the future will be very different.

Mind, emotion, meditation, prayer, spirituality and other forms of 'inner work' turn out to be at least as important in handling illness as diagnostics, drugs and surgery. It is not a question of 'either-or' but of 'both-and'.

Given this background, participants can look specifically at the meaning which Cancer brings to our world. Practical strategies - relevant to both the individuals experiencing Cancer and their primary carer - will be suggested. Participants will learn new concepts and powerful techniques from a wide range of transformational practices such as Yoga, Chinese medicine, Western Transpersonal psychology, Neuro-linguistic programming and Family Constellation therapy.

There will be opportunities to deepen self-awareness and learn from each other's experiences in a safe and supportive environment.

The aim is for participants to reclaim their (lost) power and take responsibility for the way forward through a Personal Equilibrium Plan.
