The perspectives in
this 2-day intensive workshop may startle those unfamiliar with
physicians and researchers such as Dossey, Myss, Pert, Sheldrake and
Hellinger. Their work is currently revolutionising the approach to all 'dis-ease',
including Cancer. Clearly the medicine of the future will be very
different. |
Mind,
emotion, meditation, prayer, spirituality and other forms of 'inner
work' turn out to be at least as important in handling illness as
diagnostics, drugs and surgery. It is not a question of 'either-or'
but of 'both-and'. |
Given this
background, participants can look specifically at the meaning which
Cancer brings to our world. Practical strategies - relevant to both
the individuals experiencing Cancer and their primary carer - will
be suggested. Participants will learn new concepts and powerful
techniques from a wide range of transformational practices such as
Yoga, Chinese medicine, Western Transpersonal psychology, Neuro-linguistic
programming and Family Constellation therapy.
There will be
opportunities to deepen self-awareness and learn from each other's
experiences in a safe and supportive environment. |
The aim is for
participants to reclaim their (lost) power and take responsibility
for the way forward through a Personal Equilibrium Plan. |
